“Excellent Hotel - Great Room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We stayed here on a recent Saturday night and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. Our room was actually a first-floor suite with a beautiful separate bedroom, separate bath with bathtub/shower, 2 high definition flatscreen televisions, a gas fireplace that you could set the length of time for it to burn, new refrigerator, microwave, dishes, table, couch, nice carpet, breakfast included, great location and more. We got a complementary Wall Street Journal, a local Saturday and a Sunday paper included.

If If you tried to enter the hotel through any door other than the front entrance, you had to open it using your room key, even during daylight hours. The same held true for the front entrance after a certain time or you had to ring a bell and be admitted. The main entrance area contained access to the Internet (which was also available in the room). There was a seating area across from the front desk with a fireplace and it was very nice visiting with family and friends there.

The room was very quiet and the mattress on our king-sized bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever found at a hotel. The workout room was adequately equipped and well maintained. Shopping was available nearby and there were many restaurants, included a Carraba's nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The ice machine worked very well and was easy to operate. Parking was not a problem as there was sufficient space both in front and back. The price for the room was most reasonable.

My wife and I will definitely stay here again if we have occasion to spend the night in Baton Rouge.

“Comfortable, affordable with location”

A newer hotel very nicely decorated. We stayed 3 nights. We found the majority of the people working there to be friendly & customer centric throughout our stay. A hot breakfast is included & very good! The location is close to shopping & a variety of restaurants. You get a lot of amenities of a high end hotel.
Secure to play, comfortable & quiet to rest.

“Wonderful overall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

Sayed here one night on our way home. Very personable and efficient desk managers. Clean and comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated, full kitchen, full-size king bed, swivel flat screen TV, comfortable furniture in living area for lounging. Complimentary breakfast included pancakes and eggs and oatmeal.

Located in an office park, a couple of miles off I-10. Worth the diversion. Upscale shopping and restaurants next door. Walked to Flemings for an excellent dinner. Had a great night's sleep!

“Well-decorated hotel, safe location & good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

We stayed here for one evening en route to Florida from Texas. Check-in was quick and the night attendant was very nice and friendly.

We had a one bedroom room on the first floor near the side entrance and surprising to us, noise was not an issue from the outside. The room was clean and well-kept, although we thought that perhaps the bathroom needed an updating (the wallpaper was curling off in a corner). We did like how those sleeping in the living room could access the bathroom without having to go into the bedroom, so this allowed for privacy.

The hotel had a small eating area, but also a lounge area, as well as a library/work-area all in an open space near the front desk - great lay-out. We ate breakfast here and they had a good selection of foods - eggs, sausage, pancakes, and normal continental fare. The quality was above-average, though not excellent. They had a nice swimming pool, though we didn't use it.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and I hesitated on whether to give this a 4 or 5 - it's more like a 4.5 :) The hotel is in a safe area with some nice food and shopping options nearby, so it's a good choice overall.

“A great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011

We had two suites here for my family. Both of the suites had two seperate bedrooms and were joined by a common living room and kitchen. The breakfast each morning was great. Hot foods and cerals with a waffle machine. here is a great shopping center next door with upscale shops. Basket ball court outside for the kids and pool.
