We stayed one night here. The staff was prompt and helpful. We had no issues. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-stocked with little extras like ice buckets, cups, paper plates, soap, toothpaste, etc.

A wonderful experience at this hotel. The front desk attendant was excellent and made me feel at ease and that whatever I needed (within reason) would be taken care of. THe room was very nice. It was small but very nice. The cold air was great. The breakfast was better than some. It had boiled eggs, waffles, coffee, microwave sandwiches, fruit, donuts, cereal, juices, yogurt and plenty more. I am not sure what others are saying about the neighborhood. It is in a great area;near a mall.

These rooms will never get cool. They are very very small to even be considered a suite. But a little section has a ceiling fan, so this should be a clue as to how hot it gets in those rooms. We changed rooms three times, in one day, eagerly searching for cool....it was not to be found. Rooms are much too small for two people to walk around without tripping over each other......thin walls, could hear children crying all night....desk person (Richard) seemed inconvenienced by desperation for a cool room. WE are from Baton Rouge. We know about heat and humidity. But this is not the problem, its their entire cooling system. Hallways are hot, lobby is hot. Do no waste your money on this site Springhill Suites, you will be very disappointed. We do travel a regularly and use all types of hotels, suites, both luxury and economical. This by far is the worst.

My sister is getting married and they had a bridal show in baton rouge. So my sister and her bridesmaids (all under 25), got a room here. So we arrived there to check in and the lady named Melissa took about five minutes to ask us if we needed help. Then she couldnt find our reservation and kept asking us if we were sure we had one. I guess she thought we were lying because we were all young. Good thing we had a confirmation number or we would have been in trouble!! Then she gives us a key to our room, so we take all our luggage up the elevator, walk all the way down the hall to our room, and the key wouldnt work! So we had to go all the way back to the front desk. The moment she saw us coming back she went outside or through the back door, so we had to wait even longer!! Anyways we finally got to our room, it was ok!! Then i went to take a shower and there was some kind of mold on the ceiling!! Gross!! Overall, hotel was terrible!!
