Stayed two nights as it was close to my destination. I was given a room with a very strong odor. They changed it, but the wireless Internet included (I chose a hotel that has one because I needed it) Did not work during my stay!!!

Breakfast pretty good, one of the legs of the table in the room broken but left in place anyway.

Hubby and I spent a night here with our two young sons. It was not hard to find. The reception person was OKAY. The room was clean with 2 very comfortable beds. The bathroom was quite clean also. The complimentary breakfast a sufficient for a quick bite before hitting the road.

Overall, good place for night stay for a stopover.

The first room we were given had unmade beds and had not been cleaned. After a few minutes, we got another room. The hide-a-bed for my son was not made. The front desk gave me a sheet, but said they had no pillows or blankets. Back to the car!

The hide-a-bed mattress looked like someone had slaughtered a pig on it, then had his way with it. By the time I went to bed, I was completely grossed out.

I think the front desk staff were doing the best that they could. They were extremely concerned and did what they could, but housekeeping must have been awol.

Not a bad hotel by any means, clean with very efficient staff - nice room, comfy bed, great free breakfast. Baton Rouge is horrible, the people are very rude (unless they are from outside of Baton Rouge) - the staff in stores look at you like your from another planet if you do not have a Louisiana accent or attempt to present a travellers cheque as payment. We had our rental car broken into (not on the hotel grounds I must add) and I had to spend the evening with the BRPD.
Virtually everyone we encountered was rude, I had to remind myself occasionally that I was still in the United States. Avoid.
