“Stay somewhere else!!! Drive a little further”

Where to begin....after travelling for 13 hours, and needing to get some sleep, we spotted the Days Inn, and thought, now there's a name you can trust....We didn't ask to see the room, and were quite disappointed in what we saw. The peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling, the awful brown stains on the rest of the ceiling troughout. The torn mattresses. The only good thing about the room was it was quiet, couldn't hear the traffic off of the I75, and I have to say that at least the bedding, or the room didn't smell bad, but for $50.00 and only being there for 6 hours, I think I could have expected a better maintained room. Would never stay here again.

“Don't Stay Here”

Don't stay here. We stopped after a long trip on the road. Checked in, without looking at the room, and went to get a bite to eat. We were exhausted when we returned to the motel and tried to get right to sleep, but there was a horrible smell. I called the front desk and told them, they brought me some room freshener. We were too tired to take our luggage back out and find another place to stay so we stayed. During the night people were outside our door vomiting. In the morning my face was swollen. In the daylight I discovered the cause - mold everywhere. The wallpaper was falling off the walls in several places and behind it the walls were covered in mold! We checked out immediately and went to the front desk to tell them, I showed them my face swollen from the mold. I was told there was nothing they could do, that the manager was the only one who could do anything and he never came in until late afternoons. I was given his card to call him when I arrived home. I called and tried to explain the situation to him. He wouldn't even let me speak without interupting me and ended up telling me to call President Bush!!! then he hung up on me.

“Look elsewhere”

Reserved a room at the Days Inn for 2 days for a business trip to Williamsburg. Selected Days Inn based on the logic that the most expensive hotel for this town as listed on the internet should be the best. Upon driving up noticed the property appeared rather tired and worn. Passage ways were in need of a good cleaning. At first our room appeared clean, but a closer look---well main areas were pretty clean, just don't look in the corners. Next morning----no hot water. Nothing pressing in the forenoon so went back to bed for a couple extra hours sleep. Still no hot water. Went down to the office so see why there was not hot water. Much to my amazement, the attendent on duty insisted that we in fact did have hot water. There was no way she would move from her position that we had hot water. Out of frustration we checked out and moved up the road 16 miles to Corbin where we found an abundance of motels to choose from which are of much better quality and at lower rates.
