I recently stayed at this hotel to attend a school reunion. I was very impressed with the helpful front desk staff. My room was very clean and spacious, and most importantly, quiet. I did have difficulty with the wireless internet, but called the front desk, and was given a cable connector, and the internet service was fine. One small complaint: the air conditioner from the upper floor leaked water near the side entrance to the hotel. It was a bit messy where the water had collected near the door. I used the main hotel entrance to avoid this, but I would encourage the management to correct this problem. The hotel is a nice place to stay and is convenient to the Big South Fork Scenic Railway in Stearns and not far from Cumberland Falls State Park and other scenic attractions. The area is especially beautiful in the fall and spring months.
