We felt that the trip to the Montgomery Inn was more than a little disappointing. Based on the living social deal we purchased, we were expecting admission to two bourbon tours and chocolate covered strawberries. Most of the tours were free and the tour that did charge admission wasn't covered. It was explained on our second night (after another couple asked) that the strawberries were out of season and they wouldn't be offering anything in its place. We felt misled about what we received and what was offered in the deal.
The food was very disappointing. We slept through the breakfasts but the dinner that was provided was a strange assortment of food and our chicken was burnt. We had better meals at the local Arby's.
The room was "antique" in that everything was old and rickety. Our bed made a lot of noise and the armoire in our room rattled any time you took a step. I was concerned entering the inn because there were several cats outside and I am very allergic to them. Luckily, there were no cats inside.
All in all, we were fairly disappointed with our stay and would not recommend the Montgomery Inn to anyone else.
