We first visited here in 2009, looking for a clean, inexpensive place to stay overnight on our cross country driving trip, and chose Richmond, KY because it was a convenient place for us to stop.
This is the third year we stayed at the Super8, Richmond, stopping here each way on our trip between Chicago and Tennessee. This is not an elegant motel, but it does a good job of providing a safe, clean and comfortable room for the night. It's kept than other places we've stayed ( in the same price range) in our many trips through this region.
Breakfast offerings included waffles, cereal, pastries, good coffee, milk, juice. The brerakfast area was large and clean. Richmond has a lot of family type local and national restaurants, some very close to the Super8.
