On the way back from a trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway, so during the week we have stayed in a variety of motels varying in quality. Since we were only staying in each for 1 night, we were not as picky as if we were going to spend a week. This was the first place I had second thoughts about after we had checked in. If the linens had not appeared to be clean, I would have checked right back out. Overall, rundown, in minor state of disrepair, and in need of a hood cleaning.

While traveling, my wife and I needed a place to stay for the night. We asked to see the room before we paid and decided to stay. The room was clean and the King bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked vey well! The room also had a microwave and a small refrigerator. We skipped the free breakfast as there was no fruit, just a lot of carbs.

upon arrival to our hotel room I went to use the restroom and there was dried brown urine stains on the toilet. so I thought well let me get the kids tucked in because its so late and we turned down the sheets on the bed and tere was yellowish stains all over the sheet it looked dirty. the carpets were so filthy that i would not even take my shoes off . It was the dirties hotel I have ever been in.

I had to travel to Richmond on short notice, unaware that it was Homecoming weekend. Most of the hotels and motels were full, or charging extremely high rates. Days Inn had increased the price only a little, and only for one night. They put their prices back to normal for the next 2 nights. The room was clean and neat, they had a good breakfast, and coffee all day. Very polite help, and the service was great. The folks that run this place are paying attention, and I will stay there again. Thank you, Mia and Ram, for a very nice stay.
