OWill work for a short stay. Really comfortable beds. Pool was kinda old but indoors which was a plus. The hallways carpeting could have been replaced about 5 years ago. But it was fine for one quick night driving through. The security seemed really good as it was right off the freeway.

We were visiting Eastern Kentucky University as part of our college road trip and chose this hotel because of the value it offered. This little gem surprised us after having spent two nights at the Worst Western Inn in Morgantown West Virginia.

The hot breakfast was excellent. The indoor pool was large and the staff was friendly. Our room was clean and the AC blew cold air. The only disappointment was the AC in the fitness center which was non operational due to remodeling.

If my daughter attends EKU I will definitely be staying at the Best Western in Richmond.

We stayed two nights while visiting Eastern Kentucky University with our daughter. It was the first time we have been to Richmond, but since our daughter has decided to attend Eastern will be visiting a lot more in the coming years- we just won't be staying at the Best Western.

First, I'll say that all the hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel is shabby and somewhat dirty inside and out. The room (including the bathroom) itself was clean enough, although the carpet could have used cleaning. Breakfast was a bit skimpy, mostly cereal and fruit.

The entire property needs to be renovated.
