We stayed here twice within the last 2 weeks, looking for a slightly more luxurious place than we normally stay on our periodic trips to visit family..
By calling the property direct and asking for the AARP rate, my wife got rooms for a Sunday and Thursday night for the low end of their price scale. The rooms were non-smoking, king bed, near the lobby.
The rooms were in excellent condition, well-lit, and furnished. The first room had a couch, the second, a lazyboy recliner. Each had a large dresser and a writing desk that was suitable for extended computer usage. The bath had like-new fixtures. The only thing lacking is common to nearly all motels - no convenient way to turn on/off bed lamps without groping for the switches.
Breakfast was on a par with that of the other Richmond motels we've used, but the breakfast area was much cleaner and fresher-looking. Items that were nearing depletion were rapidly replaced by the attentive staff.
The location is convenient to I75, but I would not recommend the family restaurants in near proximity - the quality of their dinners has noticeably declined. Instead, try others on the 25 bypass loop or Main Street.
