We checked in on Friday, February 11, 2010. Upon entering the elevator I noticed dirt in the corners. We arrived in our room which appeared to be nice and a farily large room. We left to meet friends and returned approximately 2:00 a.m. We turned on the t.v. to find we had no reception, in the morning we again turned the t.v. on to no reception. Upon leaving the hotel for the day, we advised the front desk the t.v. was not working they informed us they would look into it. We arrvied back to the hotel that evening again no t.v. A call to the front desk told us no one was there that could look at it, it would have to wait until morning. The hotel was full of kids running every where and screaming. We listend to kids running the hall ways until well after 2:00 a.m. on Sunday. Again on Sunday morning, our T.v. Still did not work, well over 36 hours since we checked in. When checking out, we were asked how everything was. I told the front desk clerk about the noise and she said she had had lots of complaints but they could not control everyone. By this point in time there were 5 or 6 other people waiting to check out and EACH OF THEM had the same complaint about the noise. I sent an email to the general manager of the hotel explaining all of this and have NEVER heard back from them. this is poor customer service and what could be a nice hotel is going down the drains really fast with this type of review.

I mean, everything else being equal, the cinnamon rolls are worth booking a night just for the free breakfast. Rooms are comfortable with every amenity you could want. Weather permitting, there are several restaurants within walking distance. Front desk was very helpful as we were trying to get someone to the hotel from an obscure location.

I have been staying at this hotel for about 4 yrs now and have always been very pleased. One thing it has ref and microwave in room which is a very nice plus. The rooms are nice size and clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Easy access to everything in Nicholasville, Ky and easy to get to Lexington, KY.

This is an older property and is in need of remodeling. For the most part, it was clean. There were stains on the carpets and chairs and mold in the bathtub grout. Linens appeared to be new. Older TV. Great breakfast. Walls are thin and there was a large group of younger children running up and down the halls on our last evening, so that was a little annoying. The hotel is under new management, and I think that they are trying to bring this hotel many upgrades. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful with the couple of minor issues we had. I would stay here again.
