This is a nice, clean Hampton Inn, about six or seven years old. It is in a large parking lot that has a Kroger and is near a Wal-Mart. A Tumbleweed restaurant is right next door. Not my favorite place, but the food is okay and you can grab a drink and an appetizer if you wish.
The breakfast was of good quality. The little one-egg western omelets actually had some taste to them!
I will note some negatives. They didn't spoil my stay, but just thought I would point them out.
I was given some type of assessable room which had a large bathroom and smaller bedroom. I didn't like this, and should have been warned and offered the chance for a refund. My room had an older tube TV of no great size. It's time to upgrade! The maid forgot to leave bath soap, although the facial soap was available. The shampoo looked like a small amount had been used out of it by the previous guest and the maid had decided not to throw it away, but I'm not sure about this.
The hotel expanded with a new wing about four years ago, and as a result the breakfast room isn't big enough to serve all the guests. It would help if they would have some tables for two, as all the tables are for four. So a single person takes up four seats.
These problems were minor to me, just an irritation. But I did want to point them out. That's why I gave four instead of five stars.
