It was getting late, we were tired, and we weren't looking for anything fancy -- just some place clean, quiet, and inexpensive. Roaming the eastern edges of Louisville, we got lucky -- this place was all three. There were no nonsmoking rooms available when we arrived but Rex, the desk clerk, went out of his way to find us a non-smelly room, even sniff-testing a couple before finding the best one. OK, granted, the room was small, and once they'd put in two beds, a table, the ubiquitous tv and a kitchenette, there was very little room to move around; the bathroom also had very little space, and the sink was pulling away from the wall. In other words, it was pretty basic. BUT the beds were comfortable, we were able to get carryout nearby and enjoyed having that kitchenette. And at only $50 (seniors rate) it was great value.
