I reserved 2 rooms at this hotel. I was in town to visit my critically ill mother in the hospital. It was so bad that we did not use one of the rooms and slept on recliners at the hospital. My daughters were in the other room and the dead bolt did not work and there were drunk and loud patrons up all night so no sleep form them and they came to the hospital as well with no sleep. Also the showers would not drain and were dirty and the entire room was not clean. We had these rooms for 2 days and only used one of them for 1 night. At least the recliners at the hospital were clean and comfortable. Do not stay here!!!!!

I had never heard of ExtendedStay America. i thought why not it's close to where i'm having my Doctor visits and it's just one night.

on-line reservations were a breeze. the folks on site were really nice and they seemed sincerely proud to see me.

i was very surprised and very pleased once in the room . i am just a hair under 6 ft 8 and go about 350 and the bed was really comfortable.

the layout of the room was for lack of a better word roomy with the nice big t.v. and a recliner that i fit in was just icing on the cake.

it was a cool set up with the stove top,full fridge and table.

bottom line is this company will get my business again.

1st room: bed bare, sex lube on nightstand
2nd: Sink didn't drain, toilet wouldn't flush
3rd room: @2:30 am after chewing out by the manger for making her drive in from 1 hr away, calling corporate offices (2x) & having her tracked down after trying to find the night mgr for 4-hours
3rd toilet wouldn't flush 1/2 the time. Had to remove top of tank & do it myself b/c mgr wouldn't answer. She left the key to the wrong room after trying to put me in the first room again--still unmade. Got to bed around 4:00 am, housekeeping woke 8:00 am, 9:00 am front desk called to ask what room I was in. Then a family of 12 arrived in the next room. Gave up trying to sleep. Manager comped me one night, then acted like I shld be grateful for the opportunity to drive 16 hrs then stay up all night waiting to P! 3rd room smelled of herion use (like vinegar) & there was barf on the box spring.

Got the room, a queen room, on priceline for $31, so I won't complain too loudly. The hotel did look more like a cheap apartment complex, with repairs left undone.

The room was substandard...there were dirty dishes in the sink upon my arrival, the bed is average...there were only two flimsy pillows...the reclining chair had a big stain on it...which made me wonder...they also do not offer any toiletries in the rooms...and there was a used bar of soap still in the shower...I thought at first I had entered someone's room...

Don't complain unless you speak and understand Spanish...the night staff only speaks spanish...so that limits your communication with them.

I told the staff at the desk the next morning, October 1, about my situation and the girl did apologize but that was it. An easy way out I felt.
