1) Rooms out dated.
2) Numerous areas on wall & ceiling resembling water damage.
3) Only 1 bath towel & wash rag provided for room (I traveled to Lexington with my spouse).
4) 1 hand soap on bathroom counter, but no bath soap (Am I suppose to wash my hands with the same soap used for bathing???)
5) No body lotion in bathroom (I went to front desk to obtain, desk clerk replied that they had just run out... Do they not monitor inventory or can they not get lotion from a vacant room???)
6) Showers provide no hot water (We ran shower over 30 minutes, temp didn't become hot, we had desk clerk take a look, he had no clue as to why this was... He provided me with management's card and asked that I contact them).

Staying here now. For the money its great. 1 1/2 miles from downtown and right near the red mile. I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and once you get past the fact that you aren't staying in the four seasons you will be just fine. My only issue is the shower curtain is a little dirty. But the rooms are huge and clean and most importantly the front desk staff are some of the nicest workers I've ever met. They go out of there way to help you and the guy working the from desk on thursday even called a car wash that he goes to near rupp arena to ask them if I can park my car there for the game so I could avoid paying parking charges in the lots. I couldn't say enough nice things about him and the staff. When driving on South Broadway you have to look for the Rite Aid and pull in that parking lot and the hotel is behind it.

We stayed 3 nights and would definitely stay here again. Our room was big and bright and clean. The general manager and his staff were friendly and responsive to all questions. They care about their guests and take pride in their hotel. A great value!

Was concerned staying here after reading some of these revviews but my stay was excellent. Only stayed one night while dropping daughter off at UK. Great location, large room, comfortable bed. Wasn't looking for more. It's a 2 star, not a 4 star, and I think some reviewers may be comparing apples to oranges. Compared to the other comparable hotels, this one wins hands down.
