This is a nicely appointed hotel (situated on a picture-pretty artificial lake with a flock of of tame ducks for guests to feed) but it appears understaffed. Breakfast in the on-site restaurant (called Polo's) was quite good --except for the glacial and incompetent service (the server made a show of not writing orders down-- and brought eggs that were over-easy instead of scrambled as I requested).

The suites are large and comfortable, although the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom and an appalling caulk job on the tub was unsightly). Music blares from the bar around the clock. Our first night we were kept up by loud guests and the music -- and by the Regatta Restaurant crowd that is located next to the hotel. If you seek quiet, ask for a suite on the other side of the building.

Hilton charges a MINT ($19 per night) for wireless. If you want to save money, just walk next door to Joseph-Beth Booksellers, which has free wireless. J-B has a terrific selection of books, music, movies and gifts. Bronte's is also located in J-B; the food is moderately priced and quite palatable. Joseph-Beth is located in a building along with several antique and gift shops. It is a great place to spend a relaxing hour or two.

This is an attractive hotel with a full-service restaurant and bar. The suites have two separate rooms, which meant I could be up early without disturbing my wife. The suites are nicely furnished and are adequate in size (I would not call them "spacious" for this size town). The price is reasonable for this type of accommodation.

There are, however, more problems than there should be. Charging $19 for internet service is absurd. My complaint at the front desk produced a referral to the computers in the free business center. The software on those was obsolete (Windows XP and Office 2003). The men's room in the lobby area had dirty paper towels littering the floor, both in the early evening when we came in and in the early morning when we checked out. The satellite tv was not functioning for HBO and several other channels. As we got coffees to go on the way out, we discovered (after pouring) that the lids did not match the cups; we were told that they had run out of the correct cups and would have more "this afternoon" (said with a straight face to people with their luggage in tow).

A quality hotel should not have these quality control problems.

I just returned from a one night stay at this hotel. Woke up with multiple welts on my torso and arms. I thought they were just mosquito bites or hives, but they itched terribly and a few looked angry and began to ooze when I scratched them.
I saw a physician the next day and the distribution of the bites suggests BED BUGS. I am on a steroid and antihistamine now to control the itching and burning.
This was the only hotel I stayed in during my trip. From what I understand, bed bugs do not hop from room to room, but BEWARE anyway. Do not put any personal belongings on the bed, floor, or into the dressers. Keep all your belongings on a rack. Inspect the bed, headboard, and dust ruffle for signs of BED BUGS. They aren't a health hazard per se, but the itch from their bites makes for a miserable few days, and God forbid you bring them home with you. Apparently, they can be very hard to eradicate.

Very spacious rooms (indeed suites with 2 rooms) very well equiped. Cheaper than a small room in Paris.
Hilton services: good but no surprises
Well located close to shopping mall and restaurants (but far away from Lexington downtown).
Outdoor swimming pool, not so pleasant area (according to french standards ...)
Very good value for money.
I recommend it for business trips.
