So, this is it in a nutshell. I stayed here for 6 days and they cleaned my room one time. At my insistence might I add. I stayed in the third room from the office and housekeeping skipped me everyday. This go round I was working from 11am-12am. I had to be out of the room by 10:30 everyday to be ontime. The last thing anyone wants is to be gone all day at work and come back to a dirty room. I don't expect Marriot style amenities or treatment at a Motel 6. I also don't expect the old lady at the front desk to get smart with me either. I queried as to whether or not housekeeping was gonna clean my room, its 4:30pm mind you, and Herlana smarts off that "well, they're not off yet so I'm sure they'll get around to it." Liars! I saw the housekeeper pull off in her car. I just think maybe she didn't like me so she didn't care, but why should I have to empty my own garbage, vacuum my own room, and change the sheets myself and get new towels for myself daily? I mean, DAMN I already clean the bathroom myself because I take long showers or baths so I come into a room first with only Lysol and Bleach to clean that first before I even bring in my luggage. Also, the crickets running under the door and the fruit fly convention/family reunion going on in my room where I didn't even have food were too much. They lusted after my scented candles and body wash!
On the flip side, my room was close to the office and quiet as hell. Except when ppl from second floor were coming/going during peak times and that wasn't even that bad. Steps are wooden so that explains the noise. The office staff other than Herlana were nice too. I just feel like I'm easy to deal with because I'm always out of my room so the least they could do is clean it. Those are my gripes. Pros: Walmart, waffle house, starbucks, mickey ds, wendys, gas station, and Hustler Hollywood all in walking distance. Like 1 to 3 minute walking distance.
