For only one night I wasn't about to pay $100.00 or higher. The room was very clean the bed was confortable, (not high quaility) but you got a good nights sleep. The room temp were great and you could control it for better sleeping. The bathroom was clean, not much extra stuff like soap, shampoo or the other things you pay over $100. a night for, but at this price I'd rather have my own stuff anyway. no hair dryer, but that's just an extra you pay for at other hotels... bring your own it's better than those cheap ones.
I will stay at this one again.

Hotel staff was very polite and room was clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated. This was a very nice, no-frills motel that was up-to-date and reasonably priced. Best of all they did not charge extra for pets. We have a small dog that we take on road trips and he is very well behaved so I hate it when hotels charge me extra $ to let my quiet, housebroken dog sleep over while hyperactive children and 20-somethings run around screaming like banshees.

I have never stayed at a Red Roof Inn before. When we travel, we usually stay at Hiltons, but I won a free night at a Red Roof Inn in a sweepstakes so we decided to use it on our trip this summer from Chicago to Virginia Beach. This Red Roof Inn was pretty good, better than I expected in fact. The location is excellent because there are many restaurants around it and it's right next door to a strip mall that has a K-Mart in it in case you've forgotten anything. The room was exceptionally clean and neat and everything was in good working order. The only complaint I had was that it reeked of cigarette smoke. I thought it was a no smoking room when we booked it, but that doesn't mean people won't smoke in it. I didn't report it ... just went to the aforementioned K-Mart and bought a can of Febreeze which took care of the problem quickly.

I travel to Lexington at least twice per month so my son can visit his mother. I lived in Lexington for 25 years and know the city very well. I almost always stay here. This hotel is the best one in town for the money. Well-located, near to shopping, restaurants and the unviersity area, the rooms are renovated and simple but consistently adequate. It is quiet. There is a Starbucks just a short walk up the street. It is hard to find a decent hotel these days for $60 per night. It is short on amenities, like an exercise room; but great for a short stay where you just need a good place to rest.
