My husband, my German Shepherd & I stayed there one night on our way to Florida - no huge issues, other than the front desk person was very indifferent (but maybe that was just her style), and the shower-head could blow you right out of the tub if you weren't careful (only settings: off or full blast on).
Place was clean, dated, but comfortable for a night. It's right off the highway, so very easy to get to... There are fast food places within a quick drive of the place (NO BREAKFAST in this RR, only not-so-good coffee). It's also just one or 2 exits South of an incredible Kentucky Horse Park, if you into that kind of thing.
Overall, I would check out other places in the area before staying there again, but in a pinch, I'd stay there again...

Rooms are dark and dingy. Mine smelled like dog and moth balls. Location is ok, surroundings are awful - industrial/commercial look. Staff very good! That's the only thing recommendable. Rooms were okay clean; no hairdryer, no continental breakfast as advertised. Must have been the Express Coffee & Hot Water machine in the lobby. Bad value for the money.

I've stayed at this Red Roof about 5 times and always have a pleasurable experience. Reservations are handled well and the front desk clerk is always prepared when I check in. The rooms are nice and the avavilable internet is an added bonus. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice for the price. Staff were friendly, room was clean. It's a little noisy because of external doors facing the parking lot. We were on the first level and you inevitably hear cars parking and people walking and talking in front of your door. There's also some ambient noise from the other rooms. But at night it was very, very quiet--no partying going on, at least when we were there.
