My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, 1620 Alliant Drive, Jeffersontown, KY from 29 April thru 1 May 2011. We had checked out of the hotel around 9 AM to return back to Virginia. At 3 PM, I realized I had left my checkbook and cash money in the room. I called the hotel and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Jamie who said he would go up to the room we had to see if he could find it. Checking back with Jamie, we were lucky to be told that he did find my belongings and everything (checkbook and cash) were intact. After getting all my husband's credit card information, Jamie said my belongings would be sent out by UPS. He said to check back at the hotel in a few days to make sure it was sent to us. When my husband called, Angie Tucker, the supervisor, informed him that prior to sending it, confirmation was made by her, as well as the UPS agent, as to the contents and the amount of money. We just want to give kudos to both Jamie and Ms. Tucker for the wonderful customer service they both provided us which gave me and my husband peace of mind. Again, just want to say thanks for such wonderful customer service and I feel that both of them need to be acknowledged for that.

We traveled here for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to make it a little more special we used a service called www.uberoom.com. They set up rose petals on the bed, flickering candles, white slippers at the foot of the bed, champagne flutes, massage oils, and more in our room to make it extra special. We had a wonderful romantic weekend away. The hotel was a good distance from the Zoo, downtown Louisville, and many other attractions. We will definitely stay at this hotel again and will continue to use Uberoom for our anniversaries and special occasions.

My husband and myself are frequent Holiday Inn Express guests and this was one of the best we've stayed at. We enjoyed it so much that we went out of our way to stayed at this same hotel on our way back through Kentucky. The staff was excellent, breakfast was good and hot (typical eggs, biscuits, gravy, bagel, muffins, etc.), and the area was nice and conveniently located to many attractions. My only (unreported) complaint would have been the smell of cigar smoke in the hall on our first stay. The smell stayed in the hall though and I'm not sure if there was smoking allowed in the hotel or not so I didn't say anything. If I'm going to pick apart the hotel, it looked like there had been water damage at one point in the room we first stayed in (on the second floor, I believe) on the ceiling and the wall paper looked like it had peeled in that area but there was no issue other then the inital double-take (ie, no lingering odor). Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would definiately stay here again!

Having done a lot of traveling with so many places to compare this to, this was by far one of the best experiences ever! The Holiday Inn Express was immaculate, the bedroom was very roomy with the most comfortable beds, and the free breakfast bufffet in the morning was hot and delicious with a variety of items to choose from.
We had planned a one week vacation of sightseeing and this was the perfect place to be....just far enough from the airport for quiet and privacy and yet close enough to everything you could possibly want to visit on your trip!
