Gave this hotel a D - it was damp, dated and dirty. If it weren't for the holiday and the fact that I had my husband and 3 kids along, I would have left almost after stepping foot into the lobby. Not impressed. Will never stay with a Holiday Inn again after this experience. I had asked for adjoining rooms when booking our room and was assured it shouldn't be a problem. It was and were were told our rooms were on the same floor. ? We ended up across the hall from each other only after changing rooms because there was a barking dog in the room next door. When we got into the room, the odor was overwhelming to me and it felt unclean. When my kids asked why I kept the lights on I said because "I didn't want to see the cockroaches scatter." Our air conditioner/heater leaked water. The windows were steamed up the entire time we were there. There is no working fan in the bathroom, the toilet ran the entire night. ...I could go on and on... I agree with "Eighty dollars for this" Insult to injury was the $6.99 charge for breakfast each morning. There are several other options in the Hopkinsville area - look in to them...
