My parents & I stayed at this Comfort Inn because I work for one and it is halfway during the 400 mile yard sale. I have nothing but good things to say about about the gentleman who checked us in, he was very friendly and professional. The room was nice and clean, bed was very comfortable. BUT the breakfast was really bad. I and my parents were very disappointed in the selections. Frozen sausage and biscuits (in a cellaphane wrap), packaged donuts/rolls, and fruit cocktail it looked like. Where I work it's a BIG difference, this is what we expected from a Choice hotel. I would recommend this to someone else but go somewhere else for breakfast.

I was travelling with my elderly mom in law to visit her grandkids/great grandkids. She is in a wheelchair. I phoned the hotel directly because we need a handicap room. Emily informed me there were no handicap rooms left for that weekend and offered to call the Days Inn to see if they had a handicap room available. I wanted to stay with Comfort Inns. Emily made sure we had a ground floor room and kept watch in case one of the handicap rooms became available for us. The regular room was spacious enough for the wheelchair, but not the bathroom, but we made do and were fine during our stay. The staff during the entire weekend were great. They were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. We had no complaints. Again, the staff was great, and we thank them.

Unfortunately there's no Marriotts or Hiltons sprouting up around Glasgow so we chose the Comfort Inn for a four night stay while visiting family int he area. There is a Days Inn right next to it, and it turns out they are owned by the same company, but the Days Inn reeks (and I mean awful) of smoke. in the hallways, pool and rooms (even no smoking ones). If you're not a smoker, don't even think about it. Go with the Comfort Inn.

The main knock of the Comfort Inn is it's motel style...meaning the doors open to the outside not an interior hallway. Not a big deal I suppose in Glasgow since it's a safer town. Wouldn't be so sure if it was in Memphis but, again, it's just Glasgow.

The rooms have all recently been renovated (and I mean recently like last few months). I guess this is due to the new owner. I was told the Comfort Inn got a full renovation. The Days Inn got a new roof. Anyway, the rooms are fairly well appointed and decorated for this level / style of hotel. It's borderline cozy. The beds are nice and all of the furniture, floors, desks, etc. are very clean...at least in our room. It truly was like they just redid it yesterday. int he bathroom everythign worked great and was also really clean. The light int he shower area could have been brighter but that's such a small thing. The ac worked great and was fairly quiet. It even looked new. The room had an iron and board and hairdryer and coffeemaker. The room we had was a king with sofa and it had a microwave and refrigerator.

They do offer a continental style breakfast. Good for on the run but nothing too filling. We chose the Shoneys next door a few mornings instead.

The pool (outdoor) was still closed. it looked small but then again it's not a big hotel so it's probably fine for the kids.

The staff was great from front desk to housekeeping. All very accommodating and warm. Staff really can make or break a place and they're top notch at the Comfort Inn.

I normally prefer to stay in bed and breakfasts or small hotels, so I may not be qualified to judge the motel experience. Everything was adequate, but nothing grabbed me. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient, but, as with most motels, I wouldn’t want to hang out in the front desk area. I didn’t want to hang out in the room either. It was of average size, reasonably clean, but a bit dark and dank, with a musty smell. The air conditioners throughout the motel were due to be serviced and cleaned the following day, so it could be this isn’t always a problem. There are no interior corridors, so several rooms front directly onto the outdoor pool. If you plan to use the pool, this may be convenient; if you don’t, it can be a noisy distraction. A fairly typical continental breakfast is included in the room rate, and pets are allowed for an additional surcharge.
