You will find friendly people here and a clean hotel within blocks of I-64 and KY capitol region. You will find a typical Best Western with more friendly staff. Free breakfast like all other Best Western hotels. I always go here for business when I cannot get in the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn. Close to Lexington and not too far from Louisville. Plenty of parking but kind of on a hill so caution in ice. You can hear the interstate and when possible go a couple blocks farther and stay at Hampton. Lots of shopping, local culture, and dining nearby. Maybe you could get a decent room for family or just driving through. I had a room with a door that exited outside like an old motel. This actually made it easier to load and unload but when I opened up to go out, I entered the parking lot and everything out there.

We needed to be at a cc meet at EP Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville but could not find a room in the area. We decided to stay in Frankfort since we had never been there and just drive in the next morning. The Best Western was an older hotel but renovated. Extremely clean and very friendly staff. There is also a very adequate continental breakfast. Enjoyed our evening in Frankfort walking the downtown. Did have to drive back to the hotel, it is several miles from downtown, but in the morning we jumped on the interstate and were at the State Park in less than 45 minutes with no traffic. Great choice for the money. Only minor complaint was I heard doors close in the early morning but my husband slept through it. .

For the second time, I stayed at this Best Western due to a work obligation in Frankfort. Nothing has changed from the previous review except now I understand the McDonald's on Versailles Road has been rebuilt (the old one burned down last winter) and some more retail places are open in the shopping center across US 60. Plus the Cracker Barrel is open. This is a really nice motel and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were driving from Branson, Missouri to Lexington, Kentucky. This is a long day's drive - the sign from the freeway said - Best Western Next Exit. I felt like a horse going back to the barn - let's stop here; not a mile more for us. We stopped and inquired if they had room - and happily they did. The night staff got us quickly registered to the hotel and on our way to our room.

We had a first floor room with 2 beds - several comfortable pillows - and microwave and refrigerator. Although we did not swim this time, they have late night hours for their swimming pool. We quickly found dinner close by at a Cracker Barrel and settled in for a comfortable and quiet night's sleep. We had them give us a wake up call in the morning - right on time. In the morning, we got ready for the day and then walked down the indoor hallway to their large breakfast area and enjoyed a delightful breakfast there. Although it was warm when we were staying, it was good to see both an outside way to get quickly to your car and an inside way to get quickly to breakfast without going outside.

Hotel check out was good and quick too.

This hotel values Trip Advisor and comments from their travelers. On check out they asked if I would be so kind to provide a review on Trip Advisor regarding our stay - good or bad. They ask this of each guest. That was a nice to see.

Although this was a one night stay for us, we found the place to be an enjoyable stay.
We were well rested from our long days drive and fully restored to enjoy Kentucky Horse Farm the next day.

Thanks to the staff there for excellent customer service. Room rate was very reasonable.
