We booked thru hotwire and was very disappointed. Room wasn't bad, but the remote didn't work, guide for TV was old, slight mildew odor in room, but not overpowering. Room fairly clean. People on first floor looked like boarders, not hotel guests. 4th of July weekend and the pool looked like it wasn't open for a couple of years, playground grass was 2ft high. No staff on duty after 10:pm, card said if you need anything they come back in the AM, if emergency, call 911.

They claimed that they had a hot continental breakfast, but the only thing i saw hot was coffee. Cereal boxes were outdated. Wife wanted tea, they had teabags, but no hot water. Place had the appearance that it was not maintained for years; mold growing on building, paint chipping and the concrete steps to 2nd floor were cracked and looked like they were falling apart.

Called Hotwire and let them know that if they continue to have this hotel listed on their site, I would not use them again for Elizabethtown.

Piece of advice: DO NOT stay there.

Luckily we only stayed one night. When we first checked into our room, the remote would not work. They moved us down to the other end. First thing you notice is that most of the ther rooms are not made, curtains are pulled back so you can clearly see that no one is staying there yet at 7pm they had not gotten around to making up the rooms. As we approached our new room the door to the room next to our new one was open and you could see that it was dirty, clothes, pizza boxes, all over and a big dog inside. We asked to be moved again, the woman at the front desk moved us a third time, She told us that this gentleman lived at this hotel. Now we've moved for the third time and later we realize that the shower doesn't work. By this time all we care about is getting out of here. We also noticed that this gentleman who lived at the hotel took his dog out for bathroom purposes in the area that was set aside for children as there was swing sets there. The buildings are older and need ALOT of work. How they justify what they charge is beyond me and it is definetly a one star place to stay.

Clean and hospitable.
Pool was great.
Sausage gravy and bisquits made a great breakfast.
