Our family stayed here to break up the drive for our vacation to Pigeon Forge, TN since we have small children. We arrived in the evening in time to go to bed. When we woke up was when the nightmare began!! My 5 year old started screaming that she sees a bug in the bed. When I went to check it out I found a dead red bug in the bed! As my husband and I started to inspect both beds 4 more dead red colored bugs with blood on sheets beside of them and 2 alive with one crawling on the pillow! I immediately called the front desk and they sent maintenance up to the room. The men inspected the room and brought the bugs down to the manager. We were told that they think they were spidermites???? and would contact me after the health department inspected them to let me know for sure. It's been a month and I still haven't heard from them. Furthermore, they only reimbursed us part of our points back on my card! They did offered to switch us rooms to across the hall after this ordeal however we were getting ready to leave! What a great way to start a vacation! The only good thing about the hotel is the free internet. I will never stay at this hotel again.

We were looking for a place to rest for the night on our trip back to Michigan from Florida. I found the place on my Blackberry and read the reviews on Tripadvisor before choosing it. It is right off the highway and a decent price ($103 with tax) for a fairly large room with two queen sized beds. It had a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in the room, but we didn't use them. The bathroom was clean and there was a convenient separate sink area. The beds and pillows weren't overly comfortable but we were too tired to mind. A towel in the sink area did have a couple of blonde hairs (we are all brunettes), which I quickly tossed aside, but otherwise the room was just fine. The morning continental breakfast offered bagels and bread, microwaved sandwiches, muffins and cereal. While it wasn't a great continental buffet, it helped us gear up for the rest of our trip home.

Rooms were clean but hot tub was not working as were the icemakers on our floor.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn for 2 nights and we had no problems at all. Everybody that worked at the hotel was beyond nice!!! We had a king size room which was very spacious and the best part was we had a refrigerator and a microwave!!! We will stay at this hotel again when visiting Corbin!!!
