As the name implies, our stay here was Serene. This modest home is filled with beautiful & interesting antiques, collectibles and artwork. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful garden and observing nature. The hummingbirds were AMAZING! We enjoyed our visits with the hosts. They are very welcoming and provided us with lots of helpful information about the area. Our upstairs room was clean & comfortable with a very nice view. The breakfast each morning was different and superior. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this area.

My wife and I coundn't have asked for more! The Garden room has a spectacular view. James and Debra are the BEST hosts! The setting is so relaxing we don't want to leave! A perfect place to come home to after a long day of exploring!! We will be back! The breakfast alone was worth it!

My husband and I found Serenity B&B thanks to the many positive trip advisor ratings and it did not disappoint. For us it was a romantic and relaxing getaway. Debra and James could not have been any more warm and welcoming. The Serenity Hill B&B, which is very close to Mammoth Cave is aptly named...you can sit on the big front porch and enjoy the lovely views of the valley below. They also have tons of hummingbirds and other birds that are great to watch. The B&B is very clean and nicely appointed with some beautiful antique furnishings (without being stuffy). The rooms were lovely with crown molding and nice details, the bed was comfy and the sheets no doubt had a great thread count. Debra leaves you different cookies each evening and is a fantastic cook. We enjoyed some delicious 3-course breakfasts. James gave us maps and suggestions and directions to some restaurants. We were in the HERITAGE room (aka Texas room) and it was very nice with a big bathroom and a jetted tub for a nice soak at the end of the day. There was a TV in your room as well as the ability to watch movies in the common area. Games, teas and coffees, were all provided. We loved Debra and James' hospitality and recommend Serenity Hill B&B completely.

Our hosts, James and Debra, were warm and friendly and made us feel truly welcome. Breakfasts were delicious, as were the cookies Debra baked each day. When I had to say no to a plate of peanut butter cookies, Debra insisted on making another variety that I could eat. Our room was very comfortable and the setting was just beautiful. It was delightful to sit on the front porch and watch the hummingbirds swarming around the feeders. It is very conveniently located, just down the road from Mammoth Cave.
