We stayed at this hotel because it was 5 minutes from my aunts house who we were visiting. Upon arrival they couldn't find our reservation, but we did end up with the mini-suite that we had requested. We traveled from California with 2 three year olds, myself, my 14 yr old and my mother, we had a little bit of luggage. There is no elevator so if you get put on the 2nd floor be prepared to haul all your luggage up there.
The floor in the bathroom is stained and appears un-mopped, also the toilet seat rim is stained with I'm not sure what. We had a problem turning off the facet in the tub, it was loose. On the 2nd night of 7 we were staying there, after asking them to vacuum and mop that morning, my son stepped on something but we couldn't find anything, then minutes later my mother stepped on a straight pin and it stuck in her shoe. The final straw was finding a blood stain on the underside of the thin bedspread.
This hotel was filthy and for being only 4 years old appears severely worn and outdated. The blankets weren't even soft anylonger and the bedspreads are thin and no where near what a 4 year old bedspread should look or feel like. We ended up checking out after 2 nights and moved 45 mins away to a hotel Louisville. We thought we'd try this hotel because my aunt wanted us close, but I'd rather drive and pay sky high gas prices than stay in filth.
