“Lobby Undergoing Renovation But Rooms Nice and Good Value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

Stayed two nights in December. The looby and breakfast area is currently being renovated. So, the breakfast (which is so-so) is moved to a converted guestroom down the hallway. The room was pretty clean and comfortable. Nice beds. Good TV. It is a pleasant hotel for business. Good desk and chair in the room. The entire property has WiFi and they have a small business center. There is always coffee at the reception area. The staff is very friendly. It is currently a good value as they have been offering a construction rate, but there is no work going on at night.

Thank you for posting a review of our property. I appreciate you taking the time to do that and for the kind words. I apologize if you experienced any inconveniences during our lobby renovation; however, I did want to note that as of February 1 our lobby renovation was complete.

“Under construction, but no problem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

I recently stayed here the first week of February. The lobby is completely torn up, however the rooms have all been updated to the new look. The construction hours are from 9-5. They are currently offering a complimentary continental breakfast being served in room 101. I stayed on the third floor and was never bothered by the construction. If you don't need the lobby for anything this hotel is fine and reasonable right now.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the third floor.

“Average Courtyard, Good Experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

This Courtyard, as of Oct 2011, hasn't been updated into one of the cool ones but it's still a decent stay. For business, there reason I was there, I would stay there again due to it's cleanliness, proximity to restaurants and quite rooms. However, if I was on a personal trip across the country I might want to stay at the Hilton across the way or a nicer chain. Worth the stay but make sure they credit you the rewards points. It looks like they forgot with me even though my number was in the system.

Room Tip: Request a room with a balcony for fresh air.

“Bowling Green Marriott great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

I was staying with a large group, and our check in was flawless. I had a problem with my key, and the manager on duty re-scanned my keys, and when the newly scanned keys didn't work, he personally came up, let me in my room and contacted maintenance immediately. I had no problems whatsoever with my door and/or keys again. The breakfast was plentiful, with variety. There was cold cereal, hot oatmeal, coffee, tea, orange juice, waffles, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, muffins, bagels....and the lobby consistently was being utilized by a variety of people (in my group and other groups). The location was excellent. It was located about 2.5 miles from the Interstate of I65 and there were tons of places to eat, get gas, get your car washed, go to a grocery store, visible and easily accessible. Several restaurants are within walking distance, to where you don't have to even cross the street to get there. The room was very nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The shower and the room was clean and there was a 37 inch flat screen in the room.

“Mediocre Property; Better Choices Nearby”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011

Stayed here with my wife and kids as a last-minute, one-night Labor Day Weekend getaway. We originally planned to book a room at the Hilton Garden Inn right next door, but their indoor pool was out of service. Decided on this property instead, even though it was about $15 more expensive for the night. Lobby check-in was no problem, very courteous front desk clerk. Lobby is old but a sign posted says they're about to renovate the entire lobby including the breakfast cafe (so beware if you're headed to this property in the next 2 months). The photos of the updated lobby look very modern and sleek. It will be a big improvement. We were given Room 111. Beware: the windows look out over the parking lot and a large air conditioning unit. In hindsight, we probably should've asked for a different room but were tired and decided against it. The A/C was pretty loud. The room itself has obviously been recently redecorated - a nice, Asian-style decor w/ red accent wall. New furniture and carpet. Unfortunately, the room was still relatively small. The 2 full-size beds were not very comfortable, and the flimsy pillows were terrible. The bathroom is way too small for this price range. Even though it has been remodeled, the fixtures in the tub/shower are cheap. The tile/grout in the bathroom was pretty dirty in some spots. Free internet in room was good -- no problems. Although TV was a flat screen, it was too small. Took the kids to the pool (small, indoors) -- it was just OK. It needs a deep clean. Again, the pool tile and grout is pretty dirty. Was very surprised and disappointed that the breakfast (typical hotel fare: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, danishes, cereal, yogurt, waffle maker) was NOT free. $8.95 per adult. $3.95 per child. 3 and under free. The room was $135 total for the night. Not worth it. But staff was very nice. In addition to the Hilton Garden Inn next door, there's a large Holiday Inn across the street. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
