After reading the only other review, I thought this hotel would be a good choice. What a disappointment!
When we arrived, it was 95 degrees outside and our room was hot. No one had turned the air conditioner on. It took hours to cool the room.
The bed was sagging and seemed old.
The hotel in general was run down and dingy appearing. The woman that checked us in was the same woman that checked us out the next day. When I went to check out the next morning, I had to go find her..... she was cleaning rooms!
We asked for restaurant recommendations and she told us there were many restaurants down the street. She didn't know about steak houses because she didn't like to eat steak...
Breakfast should have been an embarrassment to them... prewrapped muffins and a loaf of bread. No bagels, no english muffins, no peanut butter! Buttery spread was provided in one large squeeze bottle and the same went for the grape jelly.
I have never never never EVER seen a breakfast like this!
It is as if the management of this hotel is struggling to keep their head above water..... they are skimping in every possible area.
We paid $85 for that night and the night before paid the same for lively, helpful staff, a comfortable bed and a hot breakfast.
Unbelievable that hotels within the same chain can differ so greatly.
This town has many nice hotels (we drove past them!)... don't be fooled by the previous review on this one. Don't stay here.
