“Yuch!”

The staff was friendly, but I wouldn't recommend staying here if you like a clean swimming pool and hot tub! The hot tub had dirt on the bottom in every corner- looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70's-and was really not hot at all! The pool was green on all sides, and too cold to swim in unless you like the shock of a cold pool! We asked for a smoking room, but even being a smoker, was put off by the smell...I think someone had a cigar fest the night before! A can of air freshener would have gone a long ways to help, thank goodness the window opened! The only thing on the"hot" breakfast was a do it yourself waffle maker and carafes of coffee. Also- no elavator, just stairs, and being an arthritis and fibromyalgia sufferer, I was very glad that my strong son was along to help me up the stairs. Not what I expected for $100.00 a night!

“Nice, clean, friendly...good value”

We were very pleased with our recent stay at this motel. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Very comfortable beds, nice soft pillows, xtremely clean room, nice pool and spa, and very quiet. We were also very pleased with both the corridor entrance and outside entrance to our room. Overall this is a very nice value for the price.

“Awesome!”

My friends and I were traveling through on a road trip and stopped on our way to Mammoth Cave. Our check-in was seamless, the clerk was friendly and actually knew about local attractions & places we could go for a good time! Our room was awesome! Clean, Comfortable, & Room! The desk was 24-hours so when I called down for more towels at 3:30am they brought them right to us! Breakfast was great...love waffles & the rate was well..AWESOME! We already plan to stay again next year!

“Acceptable for a single night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2008

We selected this hotel primarily on rate because we were only staying for a single night stopover, anyway.
The basics are decent enough with clean rooms and the standard amenities (though the pool seemed pathetic; didn't use it).
Breakfast is lousy, as others have observed; in fact the orange juice tasted like it had gone bad a week ago and had to be disposed of.

The hotel appears to be a one-woman-show, since the same lady who checked us in in the evening also cleaned the rooms in the morning, tended the breakfast area, and checked us out. For all I could see there was only one other party staying there that night, so I guess the property is clinging on for dear life...

“Got the job done.”

Just needed a place to stay for one night on a road trip and had a pleasant stay here. Rick at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Breakfast was a little on the thin side, but hey, it was free, and the off-season, so I didn't really think much of it. Overall it was exactly what I was looking for.
