Spent the night here on my way home to eastern Kentucky from Nashville. Chose this Comfort Inn because it gave me a free night through a Choice Privileges bonus reward program, and because it has exterior corridors where you can park right outside the door. On the online reservation form I asked for a first floor room but when I checked in the room given to me was second floor. The clerk hadn't seen the request but when I pointed it out, he gladly changed it to a first floor room. The motel was near capacity because of a Buick car show and there were several old Buicks on trailers in the parking lot, which made parking a bit tricky. But I still managed. The room was fine, clean, had a microwave and fridge, comfy bed. The sink area is separate from the toilet and bath/shower, which is a good thing because the bathroom area is tiny. The wi-fi signal was strong but it lost connection to the Internet on a couple of occasions, but not a big deal because I was trying to watch the UK football game online and they were getting the crap beaten out of them by Georgia. Not a whole lot of water pressure in the shower but I am used to that in motels. Breakfast was good -- sausage, biscuits & gravy and the typical continental fare. This motel is located on the south side of I-65 along Scottsville Road (US 231) and there are other motels and a few restaurants on this side of the interstate, and all kinds of retail shopping and restaurants on the north side of I-65. There are probably cheaper options available in the area (such as the Econo Lodge next door) but I would definitely consider staying here again if I am back in Bowling Green.
