“Not a testimonial for Comfort Inns”

This was a stopover on trip to final destination. Decent price. Usually Comfort Inns are decent options. This is an exception. Outdoor entry into rooms. First thing I noticed was the very offensive odor of the room. Had it not been for the fact that the bedding smelled clean and fresh, I would have turned around and asked for my money back. Price was decent and we were just stopping over enroute to other destination so we stayed. Traffic horrendous in the area. Very continental breakfast with several hot selections, including self serve waffle maker.

  • Liked — Continental breakfast better than most!
  • Disliked — Smell in the room.

“GROSS!! Do not stay here!”

We went to Bowling Green for the weekend and there were a couple of events in town. Therefore, most of the hotels were booked. This hotel has not been remodeled in at least 20 years. The tiled bathrooms have mold growing on them. The carpet was coming up between the room and the bath and you could see mold growing under the carpet. The sink leaked all over the carpet and was all wet. You could tell it had been doing it for a long time based on the mold. We were originally going to stay two nights, but instead switched to the Hometown Suites for the same price. The Hometown Suites were fairly new and included kitchenettes. Would recommend them or the Microtel, which also look fairly new.

“I would stay here again.”

A nice and clean motel. It has a refrigerator and microwave but no freezer. There was a VCR with the TV but the lounge listed is across the road. The bathroom was a little small and needs minor update. It had a very nice breakfast with eggs and biskets and gravy and the front desk people were extra nice and friendly.
