“nice motel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

reserved this motel prior to our arrival because it was pet friendly and served a free hot breakfast. room was on the four floor, was large and clean, our cat totally enjoyed his stay. breakfast included six hot items in addition to cereal and danish, but it would have been nice to have a waffle maker. two queen beds, plus refrig and microwave in the room. wireless for your computer was available, in the room, plus two public use computers off the lobby. verizon cell or wireless service is not available in this area.

“Good overall Value - road trip pit stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

We stayed here in October 2011 on a road trip - it was the type of place we stopped when we could drive no longer! Staff was great as we arrived around 1:30am... price was right and free wifi is always key for us...... quiet although by the highway and the rooms were clean (but quite outdated)). Overall value was good. And I am picky!

“Very Restful Sleep!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011

It was the middle of the night and the first room had a problem with the room key reader on the door. That was quickly and courteously remedied!
The room was large enough for the family to spread out and get comfy with 2 beds and a sofa, desk, and mini table. There was a place for all the electronics to charge for the next days travel. After a quiet nights sleep, we enjoyed a nice breakfast with a large assortment of hot or cold choices. Our family got the end of the sausage. We were impressed that the host promptly cooked more.
We paid a little more for this hotel over our first try, but the value was wonderful...we all had a good nights sleep in a clean room, a refreshing morning cleanup, tasty breakfast and then early jump on the road to our final destination.

“Best of the Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

Of five different hotels in the Choice Hotels that we stayed in, we would rate this #1. It was very clean and updated. Fun staff, quiet, close to freeway but not noisy, host in dining area and fabulous breakfast - cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, hash brown, bacon, sausage, fisquits & gravey, grits, pastries & various drinks. Close to attractions.

Room Tip: They were all good rooms. Probabl not a room by the stairs would be best.

“Clean and a great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

I find that Sleep Inns can sometimes be a little hit or miss. Thankfully I trusted the other reviewers and found this to be a hit. It's your typical near the highway, basic bed for the night kind of hotel. But it's very clean and an excellent deal. If you're passing through this would be a great point to pull off for the night. I actually stayed here before going on to WKU and found myself on campus after about a 10 minute drive-- no problem at all.

(By the way, if you're leaving towards the 65 or towards campus and don't want to deal with turning left onto busy Scottsville Rd. without a light, I found that making a right out of the parking lot onto Greenwood Ln., then a right on Mel Browning St., then following the street as it curved around to the right again brought you to an easy light at Scottsville. Took less than two extra minutes and saved some stress.)
