“They have a pool!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

The best part (besides the pool) was talking with the host who is the director of the Corvette Museum--very interesting. We took advantage of the pool, which is great in August. We had been to the museum and were going to Mammoth Cave the next day. We stayed upstairs where there were two beds in two separate rooms. It worked great for four people. The only thing I didn't like, and it's probably only something that bothers me, is they had some of their personal belongings stored in our room. I just don't feel as comfortable staying somewhere that feels like I'm actually in a room they personally use every day.

“Lovely stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 July 2008

What a lovely way to experience Kentucky! We were less than impressed with Bowling Green, but this Bed and Breakfast was just quaint. We were upstairs in what used to be the "slave quarters". Hosts were friendly. Breakfast was delicious - waffles, bacon, fruit, juice & coffee. I would stay here again. Probably not the best place for kids.

  • Liked — the serenity; the quaint furnishings
  • Disliked — nothing really
