We were very pleased with the accomodations at this hotel. Usually stay in ones with a pool, though this time we didn't this time as were going to be at the event so much, we really would only be sleeping there. Was surprised by the nice up to date decorated room and was very comfortable and they provided some extras like some popcorn and juice in our room. Very nice.

The room itself was OK - clean enough for 1 night, but rather shabby. The gentleman in charge (of everything, it seemed!) had no customer service skills. We had problems with lack of towels and a room door that would not lock when you went out. The breakfast was not good - stale doughnuts and watered-down fruit juice. The cream cheese was not kept cold and some packets were off. We were glad we were there for one night only. The sign outside boasted that the hotel was 'Under New Mangement' (their spelling!!!) Unfortunately it poured with rain whilst we were here, but the broke down-pipe draining into a floor bucket did little to improve the ambience. I can't comment on the pool area as it wasn't the weather to take a dip, but wouldn't have fancied it much anyway.

I am a travel agent and have stayed at quite a few places ranging from budget hotels to preferred hotels and resorts. If it wasn't for the fact that I arrived at 730PM and was only staying a night, I would have forfeited my "points" that I used to book this hotel and stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn or Country Inn and Suites. From the 1st moment I pulled up, I did not want to stay. It's very old with no renovations, dirty and mold in the bathroom. Water was leaking in the bathroom from somewhere.....where......have no idea, it was coming from the wall. The counters were dirty with stains that could come out - but were there anyways. I have stayed at some other Days Inns before and I must say, this was the worst one, let me rephrase that.....this was THE worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. I could not wait to leave in the morning and get out of there. If you are on a budget, which I was, it would still be worth the extra $30 dollars or so to stay at the Holiday Inn (which I am not a fan of either, but they're MUCH better). Again - had I not arrived so late - I would have never checked in. If you're the type of person that does not care of the mold/dirt for just an overnight stay - then I guess you would not have a problem staying here. 2 nights though - forget it!!!!!!!!!!

My problems started from the beginning and this should have been a warning flag. I called there gave my all my information including credit card info and they said they would call me back and give me a confirmation number. They never called. So I went through this drill a second time. When they never called the second time, I called the manager who straightened things out right away.

I stayed here for a wedding I was attending and I tell ya' it was gross after I got to the hotel. There were cobwebs everywhere, kinky hairs all in the sheets, mold in the bathroom, and the list goes on. The desk clerk brought us more towels to the room. They were not folded and where wadded up. One of which they had to take back to exchange with another because there was something black all over it. The price was cheap, but aren't there any standards of cleanliness anymore?
