I stay here because it is the only brand hotel in the area. Colleagues and I were in the area on business for several days, and the area was very nice country setting. The hotel on the other hand was a nasty place to have to stay. There were cobwebs in the room, carpet was dirty and you couldn't walk around without shoes or socks would be ruined. There were ants in the bathroom and the toilet was disgraceful. There was no housekeeper on duty to clean the room so I had to go to the local Wal Mart and purchase cleaning supplies. I complained to the desk clerk and she informed the manager, who appeared to have issues of his own, he was in shorts and a wrinkled looking shirt, had long unkept stringy hair, and over very rude and arrogant attitude. He had no comprehension of a persons personal space and got within inches of me when he spoke to me, he even smelled of what appeared to be alcohol. So I just cleaned the room myself, because if that's the management then I didn't want anyone on staff to come and clean in my room. It concerned me all night so the next morning my colleagues and I checked out and went to a bred and breakfast, in a little town called Delbarton, which was close enough for us to take care of our business and feel safe with clean rooms. I was extremely disappointed in the quality and service at this Super 8, you would think a company that size would keep higher standards. Never again!

If you are treaveling through Williamson WV AKA Goody Kentucky, Keep going!!! This hotel is dirty, old and in need of some very serous renovations. This hotel is prime for railroad workers, and any other workers that have to stay in the area because it is the only hotel in "Goody" which IS NOT so "GOODY". The showers are filthy, need to be seriously SCRUBBED instead of just sprayed with a solution and wiped down, NASTY. Just Nasty. The staff at the front desk would rather flirt with the men that "Hang out in the lobby" than ask a new person walking in "May I help you".Discusting place to be. For decent treavlers with any good standards of where you want to lay down at night, keep on moving..........just a little future. Theres a Holiday Inn Express there, but does not except pets. Please avoid this dump.

Went to the super 8 last Feb. Stayed in a jacuzzi suite. The room was dirty. The jacuzzi was dirty and even had human hair in it. The phone in the room would not work and when I went to the front desk she told "me" To bring it to her. ummm not my job.... Once the phone issue and room was cleaned again--- it was ok. I drove 5 hours in the snow and had to deal with the most unpleasant people I have ever met. Once I got back home I noticed that they had a hold on my credit card for 202.00 when I called about the hold the dumb a%$ aka manager said that she could not take the hold off that it should come off in a couple of days. well a month later I was still trying to talk to this stupid woman about where the heck my money was and why wasnt it put back on yet. She basically tried to blow me off. But finally the money was put back on my card. I will not stay there ever again.

Chose because of proximity to Williamson, WV and Hatfield & McCoy marathon start. Basic, no frills. A bit dated, but not too dirty. Of course that implies not too clean. We were staying one night and visiting to run the marathon and the hotel would not honor requests for late checkout. They are defintely not sympathetic with their guests. Given the price relative to the hotel conditions and the area they could have better customer service. I will stay at another different hotel in the area when I return next year.
