We booked it over the internet from the UK to stay overnight after a visit to the Rosine barn Jamboree. We were happy with everything there, only niggle was a few holes in the wall by the bed. & torn wallpaper . Not too difficult to fix surely! Lovely views from window, breakfast quite good. Eateries within walking distance if needed

“Beaufiful View, Quiet & Peaceful, Clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2010

I have been staying at this hotel every weekend since selling my house and waiting on my new home. Through the week I travel with my husband and I have seen a lot of hotel. The Beaver Dam Inn is one of the best and top notch on my list. I give it an A+. If your looking for friendly staff, clean rooms, and a quiet place to relax then you can not beat this place! Great! Beautiful view of the country while still being close to gas and food. Accessible to Western Kentukcy Parkway & William Natcher Parkway.

“Very Disapointed”

We booked a "suite" at this motel because my wife and I were traveling with our grand daughter. The overpriced suite turned out to be just a single room with one bed and a loveseat. We tried to make the best of it anyway. When we asked for an extra pillow for my grand daughter who was having to sleep on the loveseat, the motel staff refused. They said they didn't have an extra pillow. Imagine that. A large motel that couldn't find one extra pillow.

I would sleep on the ground before I would stay there again.

“"A Dam Fine Place To Stay" by Radio Joe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2004

We came across the Beaver Dam Days Inn quite by accident. After a long, tiring Saturday we decided to extend our stay with a 2nd night in Owensboro, KY. Due to the baseball tournament in town, there was not a vacancy to be found in all of Owensboro. So we headed toward home, south on the William H Natcher Parkway (who? Originally called, quite logically, the Bowling Green - Owensboro, and later the Green River Parkway, before giving way to Kentucky politics). At the sole toll booth, near the northmost Beaver Dam exit. we asked about accomodations. The toll booth attendant gave us directions to this Days Inn set in the quiet grasslands of Western Kentucky. It was well worth driving the few miles in the "wrong" direction. The manager greeted us with a smile and gave excellent service that lasted until we left the parking lot the next afternoon. We found #204 to be a clean, comfortable, spacious room overlooking the spotless swimming pool and adjacent grassy field. If you would rather your room face the parking lot, ask for an odd numbered room. I immediately noticed the unused phone jack beside the desk, perfect for plugging in and checking my e-mail. At the more expensive place we stayed on Friday I had to run a 25' phone cord across the floor from the desk to the bedside phone. A large table and chairs beside the window is convenient, but more light in the room is needed to provide a good place to read after dark (although the bathroom is great for this!). My wife bemoaned the lack of a coffee-maker, microwave and/or mini-fridge; methinks I have spoiled her. (Coffee is available in the lobby 24/7) The beds proved to be very comfortable. The bathroom was well-designed, with a built-in hair dryer, an actual solid lid covering the commode and a vented exhaust fan. When you get hungry, a Wendy's Restaurant and a Denny's Diner are an easy walk (within 100 feet) of the lobby. For cheap snacks (although a "pop" from the machine down the hall just cost 75¢), just drive or hike a short distance down the road to two mini-mart gas stations, a BP on the west side and a Marathon on the east. Oh, and a continental breakfast is included with your stay. There are more good things I could point out, but suffice it to say that we will definitely go out of our way again just to stay at this fine establishment.
