This is one of the most unique B&B's I've been to. There are iron bars on the windows, the walls are 30 inch thick limestone and the history is amazing. The cell space has been transformed into attractive rooms (The Garden Room, The Victorian Room, and the Colonial Room to mention a few). And a night in the Jail Cell is just that, a night in a Jail Cell (fun for kids).

Is it haunted? This you will have to decide for yourself.

Room Tip: Make reservations as early as possible. Popular B&B.

My wife and I lucked out and had the whole place to ourselves, and had a spooky ol time! Paul was an excellent host, and enjoyed chatting about past experiences! 1819 room is hot :)

“Great Location and Atmosphere”

Concur with other reviews regarding location. B&B is next to Old Talbot Tavern where we enjoyed two very good dinners. Shops nearby were fun to browse. Bardstown visit was very enjoyable, incl. My Old Ky Home and Heaven Hill tour. Innkeeper, Paul, was very helpful and fun to talk with. Stayed in Colonial Room and loved the atmosphere. Stuffed French Toast provided for Breakfast was excellent.

Room Tip: Colonial Room has great atmosphere and is on first floor.

Loved the place -- the 1809 Room was very cool... The hosts were very helpful with suggestions of what to do and see, and the breakfast was delicious. Ver y central location in Bardstown.

Room Tip: I would recommend the 1809 room.

awesome place to stay. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean & comfortable. Easy access to all the sights in and around Bardstown.
