I called in advance to make this reservation, wanting 2 queen size beds in the room. Being told their rooms met those expectations, I booked 2 rooms. We arrived, checked in, and then found 2 double beds in each room. It was very late at night, and with my elderly mother traveling with us, we couldn't move her yet again to another hotel. When I called the front desk to inform them of misrepresenting their rooms, the manager got on the phone and gave me a snarky response, "why don't you just check out?"
As I went down to get the last bag out of the car, I noticed the keyed lock (for security) on the door was broken, so they'd just ducktaped it closed! Anyone off the street was able to simply pull the door open and walk in. So much for security!
The breakfast was marginal, at best. Hard bisquits and instant coffee. Ugh.
I'm of the belief that this was, at one time, a beautiful hotel, as the lobby was very nice. That observation was the only positive comment I can honestly make.
