A full service Hilton should an enjoyable experience for the traveler. This particular Hilton needs work. The check-in was slow and uninformative. My profile and status is set to include continental breakfast but I was informed they do not offer this service. I was informed I could have access to the conciege lounge but they were unable to accommodate my room request on this floor. This particular Hilton gave the construction company complete access to their Executive floor eschewing their tiered frequent guest policies. The hallways were dirty and crowded by banquet tables. The rooms are big, but they could not accommodate a King bed for a Diamond guest...normally this isn't a big deal but I happened to hear a desk clerk offer a king to a walk in guest when I asked for change (after I had checked in). The restaurant was generally unfriendly. The food had good value, but the service was bland. If there are only 4 people in a huge restaurant, there should be no hurry to flip my table. I'm not expecting to be treated like a king, but it would be nice to see the staff smiling, cheerful and helpful. Overall, I felt like I was a burden based on my interactions. I'm sure this will be a nice hotel but until they finish their construction....stay away.
