This place is clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly. Price was reasonably low so there are no microwaves or fridges, but a good stay overall.

This really is a good, clean and no-frills hotel. We were in town for the Susan Komen Race for the Cure and just needed an inexpensive place to sleep. The room was fairly spacious and had a comfy chair, mini fridge, and free wifi. The continental breakfast was fine (cereal, yogurt, fruit, waffle maker, etc.). The hotel is conveniently located and easy to get in and out of. We booked through the Super 8 website and used a discount from work and only paid $53 (with tax) for the room, which was a deal. I would definetly stay here again.

Angela at the front desk, gave the best customer service of any hotel I've been in. The rooms upstairs were having the carpets cleaned and the AC units, so we were put downstairs. When the room we stayed in wasn't up to standards due to smell, the problem was immediately resolved with a new room and that room blocked off for maintence. I mention that because cleanliness is very important to me. You will not have a pool at this location, but if you are not looking to swim I recommend it.

At first glance it seems like a typical, though slightly run down budget hotel on the east edge of town. However, over the course of our two night stay there were several issues we had with the place.
We immediately noticed the rooms are very small and missing some basic amenities, even when compared to other similarly priced hotels. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in rooms around you (they all share two long indoor hallways).
The second night when we returned to our hotel we found our keys wouldn't work in the door. When we went to inquire about it at the front desk we were told that the sink was broken and we had been moved. A conflict with a customer had just occured and the woman behind the desk was apologizing and running around trying to stay caught up with all the problems. We noticed a sign at the desk notifying customers that, in cooperation with the wichita police locals and anybody under 21 are prohibited from staying in the hotel. This seemed strange to us and when we asked why this was we were told it was because of the "business deals," drugs etc that had become a problem... okay....

Overall, seemed like a sketchy, disorganized place. Much better values can be found elsewhere.
