“Great location, large rooms with comfortable bedding, large parking areas.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 March 2011

Our family recently stayed over at this best western and we must say that we were impressed. The hotel looked as if it were still brand new. Our room was on the ground floor and was very spacious. The most impressive thing was the bedding, that brought out the comfort in our stay. Other things we found to be great wast free hot breakfast , and free internet. There was also a lot of room for parking our big U-HAUL. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to whether you are traveling with family or for business.

“Great Hotel, Good Service, Overall Recommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 March 2011

The room was very clean. Beds were nice and relaxing, easy to fall asleep coming from someone with frequent back pain. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was good. If business required me to come down to Wichita ever again I would absolutely stay here. I recommend this hotel for all other travelers, you will not be disappointed.

“Clean hotel but lots of spiders”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2010

My husband and I were passing through Wichita and we decided to rent a hotel room at this Best Western on August 20th 2010. The front desk was very friendly and helpful with directions and attractions in the area. The hotel overall was clean except for the hallways needed vacuumed; for I had walked to the ice machine in my socks and punctured my foot from a sticker and as I looked up and down the hallway it seemed really dusty. Our room was clean and spacious but during our stay we had a couple of unexpected guests.... to our surprise I found 2 spiders, one in the bathroom and one by the headboard of the bed. The management did nothing unfortunately so they must be used to this issue. The breakfast could use some upgrading as well as the televisions. Overall a decent hotel but not worth the rate they want to charge

“Nice property but has issues”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July 2010

On this trip we previously stayed at a BW and were subjected to excessive noise from the room above. For the duration of the trip we requested top floor rooms generally to avoid this problem. At this place we traded one problem for another. We always get non smoking rooms, but the top floor at this place is at least two thirds smoking rooms. The hallway reeks of cigarette smoke. One guest got on the elevator with a lit cigarette. The stuff will permeate a non smoking room to some extent. Actually, the place is better constructed than your average BW, so we probably would have been OK on a lower floor from a noise standpoint. If you stay here and don't smoke, specify you do not want the third floor! You'll be OK on a lower floor. The place has good mattresses and is in good condition. Internet worked fine. A drawback is the breakfast. It's billed as a full breakfast, which was the waffle machine, bisquits and gravy, the usual cereal, coffee, etc. Plus, it is served in a very small room, and there was complete pandemonium. We skipped it and went to a McDonald's down the street where we could eat in peace. There was also some minor road noise, but you should be able to request a room on the backside. The fitness center is below par.

“Awesome stay, great location! Pool was refreshing!”

I stayed here with a couple of my friends for a local baseball tourney at the local college. I wast expecting this great of a hotel. The best thing I liked was the location. The highway was very close which meant easy access across Wichita. The staff was friendly and compliant. A nice breakfast was just what we needed before our tournament. Then, we spent the rest of the night in their awesome outdoor pool Over all it was a very pleasant stay. I will be coming back next time I am in town.
