I used to do business in many remote areas of the country and have stayed in a lot of Super 8's and have always been pleased. Super 8's are usually basic (not fancy) yet always clean, comfortable and a chain I would recommend to others. I cannot say that with this Super 8. I wanted to be close to the Wichita airport yet not spend over $100 a night well I accomplished both of these goals yet not without disappointment. The people that checked me in were very friendly. The room was outdated okay I can live with that/the bed was fair but what's one night? The sink area had plywood nailed in front of it because of wood rot. The bathroom had rust stains around the tub, showerhead and on some tiles. The "toilet tissue" was actual tissues. It was like a larger sized purse tissue holder shoved into the TP holder. Is TP really that expensive? I was uncomfortable staying here and cannot recommend it I wouldn't feel right doing so. The man who checked me out in the morning was not helpful and told me if I needed a receipt I'd need to print one off the internet. For other business travelers out there - this does not work to submit for an expense report! If I was overseeing Super 8 I would take a closer look at this hotel using their name.

Travel for business. The clerk and hotel are foreign owned - which many are these days. The hotel is up to Super 8 standards. Clean comfortable rooms. I've seen Super 8's where the beds are pillow top. This IS one of those properties. They forgot to supply ample pillows to match the plush bed. Only 3 average pillows. I'd have preferred to see King size pillows or for the ones they have, 6 on the bed.
The hotel internet went in and out. I ended up using my phone's hot spot.
If there is any complaints.. its hearing other guests come and go. Their doors need dampening at the closure point. So they don't slam.

Needed a place to stay before flying out that we could leave our vehicle at while gone.

Pros: Close To Airport, AC was great, Good location near restaurants

Cons: Shuttle van was a 1992 or thereabouts Chevy AstroVan. No fitness center, but I went for a run around the area. Next to an adult oriented boutique.

The hotel is conveniently located right off a freeway, but the area is trashy. The room is outdated and dirty. We only stayed for a brief night and tried to travel cheap. We should've spent the $$ and got a nice one.
