I stayed at this hotel, due to not being able to stay at my preferred hotel in Wichita. Boy, I have learned a thing or two. I stayed here on Thursday, February 2.
Upon arrival, I had difficulty understanding the people at the front desk, as they really did not speak English (or at least to where it could be understood).
My room was a King non-smoking on the ground floor. Upon entering the room, my first thing I noticed was that the front of the sink area was covered with plywood due to wood rot. This was not a good sign. The recliner in the room was not comfortable, and only sat in it for approx 5 minutes. Enough was enough. The bed was comfortable, but it had some of the WORSE pillows I have ever slept on in a hotel. Warning: Bring your own if you stay here! The bathroom was nothing to brag about. The tub did not drain very well, and filled very quickly with taking a shower. The shower head needed to be cleaned, as the spray went everywhere. The carpeting in the room had iron melt stains on it. Breakfast was a joke. Not worth it.
Some positives: TV worked fine (but was an older tv). Heating system was quite and worked. Lighting ok, and plenty of plug ins.
Upon checking out, I was ignored at the counter. Finally, someone came. He did not speak English. I could not get a receipt.
Overall, I would not stay at this place again. Once was enough.
