It's sad how far this hotel has fallen in a year. Last year's winner of Pride of Super8 is this years terrible dis-appointment. My suite had not been cleaned properly. There was dried urine around the porcelean, and long long hair made up in the sheets, and the room had an undesirable odor. The TV had cable, but the picture in the room was extremely snowy and would freeze occasionally. The room was configured in an unconventional manner so the TV was not visible from the couch/ pullout. During my 10 day stay there were only 3 days that breakfast was fully stocked. They ran out of yogurt, cocoa, certain types of cerial, Syrup, fruit, and even spoons during the course of my stay. At least two of the rooms booked by our group had problems with keycards that took up to an hour to fix - requiring one of my co-workers to switch from a suite to a room for a night.
It was not an entirely bad experience: the reception crew was very friendly, there was no excessive nosie to inturrupt sleep, and the internet was everything you could hope for in speed and ease of accessibility. I saw no signs of bedbugs, and the HVAC in the room was quick to get to your desired temperature. Showers were actually able to get hot if you so desired, and the room always supplied plenty of soap & Shampoo.
I hope the new management is able to fix the issues stocking breakfast, and properly challenge the cleaning crew to be more through during room cleaning.
