I've stayed at this location 3 times for business in KC - July 07 for 3 days, August 07 for 2 days, and January 08 for 2 days. While the location is excellent for that purpose, the hotel leaves something to be desired in the way of cleanliness and noise level. Like some of the other reviewers, I had a hard time sleeping between the noise of my neighbors, people walking down the hall and the Ac unit. The chairs and sofas looked comfortable but I was afaird to touch them for the stains on the fabric. Over the winter this property went 100% nonsmoking - which is great, but what they did was just put a nonsmoking label on a formerly smoking room (at least in the room I stayed in on my 3rd trip in January 08) which stank to high heavens and got into everything I brought with me. On the plus side, our corporate rate was very reasonable ($55), high speed wi-fi was always available, the kitchen was a ncie amenity to have, and the bed was clean and comfortable. I have not and likely will not return to this location for business again in the area - I chose the Comfort Inn right next door, which was a great stay!

Stayed in this hotel for one night and found the hotel and room to be absolutely fine. I made use of the small kitchen and enjoyed being able to make a little soup for dinner without going out since I was alone. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever.

First of all, let me say although it wasn't perfect, it was clean, easy check in and check out and I would stay at this hotel again. The price was great plus I signed up to get emails from them and they sent me a $10 off coupon. There were a couple of things that bothered me about the room. For some reason, the bathroom door wouldn't shut right. It appeared swollen so you had to push VERY hard to get it to shut and then even harder to get it back open. We finally just quit trying to shut it. The top of the door was even starting to split from opening and closing. The other thing was that the smoke detector in the ceiling was hanging by it's wires. It was working as the lights would blink but it was not attached to the ceiling. They also have the noisiest a/c unit I have ever heard, although it does hide the highway noise. Like I said, I would stay there again but I would hope they had fixed those problems by then.
