I found this incredible savings online with Settle Inn's website directly. The guy at the counter had never heard of it but bottom line, I was supposed to get a King sized bed for a total of $43.70. Told them at the reservation and made a follow up call the next day and spoke with Karen. I told her that although check in was at 3:00, we would not be there until 6 - 7:00. She told me it was not a problem because my reservation was guaranteed. Got there at 6:30 and was told that they did not have any king sized beds left. Was told I could have a room with a queen sized bed. Got to the room and it only had a doubled sized bed. Went back to the counter and was told I could have a room with 2 queens. Got to the other room and it was 2 dbls. It was apparent I was not going to get the room that I had booked. The room was clean, sufficient towels, cable, internet and remote all worked. Beds weren't all that comfortable. If you're expecting even a typical continental breakfast with pastries here - forget it. There was some cold cereal, toast, a couple of bagels and waffle batter available. There was coffee and apple juice. Considering the price, we couldn't complain, but I did expect them to honor the room at the price they quoted. I would stay here again, but only because of the price. There was a sonic, Winstead's, subway and a Quiktrip within walking distance. The staff was horrible and indifferent. We also did not get a receipt. I was told the night before that we would get one the next day. I had to leave a little earlier but they refused to give my partner the receipt and said we could go online and print it out. Horrible, horrible service with an attitude.
