I've been in my room for a couple of hours and already I'm disappointed. There is no table in the room, which is inconvenient but not promised. There is no microwave, which clearly appears in the photo on the motel's website photo of the 2-double-bed standard room. The deadbolt on the door to the room won't lock, and the bedsheets are loose and poor-fitting. I called the front desk to inquire about the possibility of getting a table lamp, since the only lights in the room are two wall sconces (one RIGHT above the television which is inauspiciously sitting ON THE DESK and is blocked by the back of a huge rolling chair unless the chair is moved) and the FLUORESCENT TUBES above the beds. It is like I am staying in an office. But when I called the front desk, the phone rang more than 50 times and no one answered. So I called back. No answer. Then I called the hotel number from my cell phone and the man who answered acted like he didn't know what a table lamp was, and was not at all apologetic that the hotel doesn't have them in the rooms or on request. I'm not staying in a Super 8 again if this is what I can expect. I haven't even bothered to call about the deadbolt, b/c I assume no one will answer or care that I can't lock my door. Nevermind that the drain plug is stuck in the plugged position and the lever doesn't raise it. Currently I have a safety pin jamming one edge up so the water will drain. DISAPPOINTING!

We loved the location in Overland Park. It was very close to major highways, but surprisingly, the area was quiet.
For $70 (including tax) we got a super clean room with very comfy beds and pillows. Whenever we walked in the building the air smelled very clean and pleasant. The staff was friendly and were happy to answer our questions about local shopping and restaurants.
The breakfast was a minimal continental breakfast, but again, it was fine for the price we paid.
We will definitely be staying at this Super 8 again.

I was at overland park for my business trip ..
This place I found is best for me..vary clean and comfortable..
I will recommand this place because clean and quiet neigherhood..

No big shakes here, just your average Super 8 motel. Perfect to sleep in.
