Stayed over Christmas. A couple things come to mind. While the Courtyard normally has a $10 breakfast, they did a complimentary scaled down continental style breakfast. I thought it was well done and more than appreciated. With Christmas dinner coming, I didn't need anything heavy and I appreciate the effort which took care of their guests as well as their staff on Christmas. Kudos! Also they posted that they wouldn't be having housekeeping so that their staff could spend time with family but to check with the desk if we we should need towels. I appreciated the effort again and understood. When we got back Christmas night, The extra towels were hanging on the door in a bag, saving me a trip. Again Kudos. We left something in the room when we left and the manager went down and looked himself. Personal service and an excellent visit.

I have stayed here several times over the past several years, convenient location. Property is getting a bit dated. Complained in the morning about a consistent rattle all night from the air unit, staff apologetic but offered nothing for the evening of no sleep. Will find another property next time I visit Overland Park.

The staff here is great! The property is a bit dated but I think it's fine for what it is. They also allow you to include housekeeping tip into your bill if you ask ahead of time. They accomodated my soy milk request when I called ahead.

However, the walls here are VERY thin, so beware if you're a light sleeper.

We have stayed at this hotel once before and decided to book it again for one night. Check-in and out was easy and staff were friendly. The room was nice and bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. The only complaint we had was the TV was not working properly, couldn't change channels. It wasn't that big of a deal since we didn't spend that much time in the room anyway. With so many other choices of hotels in the area, we probably won't stay here again.
