This hotel has a great location for visiting folks in Kansas City, Kansas. It is conveniently located near an excellent grocery store, a CVS, a liquor store and is easily accessible at just two blocks off the ring road highway that loops Kansas City. It was clean, the staff were friendly and accomodating. Kansas City airport is a 40 minute drive. I booked using my Entertainment Card and received a fantastic rate. I saved $19 off their best web price and stayed four nights. The savings paid for my Entertainment book and then saved me another $50.

I was a little leary after reading the reviews but the hotel was already booked on hotwire ($39 a night!!). We were more than happy with the room. The kitchenette was stocked with dishes and pans as well as all the utensils needed to cook. The bathroom was spacious. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The hotel was quiet and we felt safe coming and going from our car. We travel to this area a lot and have already booked our second stay here.

Yes it is dirty and needs to be refurbished but for $38.- on Hotwire you can beat it for value..stayed for 10 days and enjoyed the DVD player (McDonalds $1.- rental box just next door) has a fridge and 2 hot-plates and the rooms are decent size

One of the most important aspects of a hotel for me is that it is clean, however this property failed on that item. Carpet and bedding were stained, as were every single towel in the room (bath, hand and washcloth) as were the set of replacement towels I went to the desk to get. Luckily I keep a couple extra towels in my luggage so I was able to use those instead of the disgusting towels they provided.

Rooms are generally small, but do include a microwave, stove top, dishwasher and fridge. The fridge was dented and extremely loud as it ran all night along with the annoyingly loud window a/c unit. Wifi is not offered, only wired which was slower than dial-up speed. TV had a good selection of channels, but many of them had bad reception. Bed was comfortable, but linens were stained with only a few tiny pillows on the bed and no extras in the room.

Overall I would not recommend this hotel due to the cleanliness issues. There are several other hotels in this area that are clean and offer comparable rates (not to mention daily housekeeping which this property does not offer).
