I stayed here one night and chose this hotel because it was close to where my friend lived and I was able to use points for a free stay. It didn't seem bad when I first walked in and it wasn't until later that night when I returned that I began to notice problems. The bedspread had a very gross-looking stain on it - who knows? There were spots on the ceiling. Not black, a tan color, but I couldn't figure out what it could be. Some places looked clean and other places were dirty like the housecleaner just missed a lot. Some of the lamps didn't work. The room just looked like it needed a renovation very badly! The hallway was hot and smelled very stale. I thought maybe it wasn't right of me to think the hallway should be air conditioned in this time of conservation though. Some good points definitely worth mentioning is that the a/c in the room worked very well and there was a fridge and micro in the room. The woman at the front desk who checked me in was really very nice and professional. I had no bad experience with the people, they were great. I don't think I would want to stay here again until it is renovated.

We stayed December 7,2007. The hotel was nice. The room was basic, updated. and clean. Breakfast was good. The service was fine. Staff was professional. The hotel is fairly close to shopping and easy to get to. I would stay there again if the price was right.

Stayed at this hotel with family for a funeral. Rooms were spacious and clean. New carpeting, new sheets. Even had 4 pillows on each bed. Beds were very comfortable. Very friendly staff. The hotel offered free breakfast but we didn't eat there so can't comment on it. Great location along I-35 on the frontage road. Close to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay there again.

A party of 8 families recently made reservations to stay at this hotel. Upon arrival after the check out time, our rooms were not ready, even though it was past the check in time. Those who did get their rooms found them in complete disarray from having beer bottles strewn all over the floors to ants in their ice buckets, bugs crawling on the floors, etc. The carpeting in the hallways was so dirty that you couldn't even see what color it was. The entire establishment was filthy dirty! There were buckets of dirty standing water sitting in the halls, the breakfast area was unclean with food covering the floor. All of this was at 3:30, 1/2 hour past the check in time. The management at this hotel is terrible as well. We were given incorrect directions to the hotel, the front staff was incompetent and did nothing to try and straighten out our reservations only to blame it on someone else. After about a 1/2 hour of trying to get the situation remedied, a manager finally came out of the back office only to stare me down, yell at me across the desk, act arrogant and disrespectful. He then told me I was the one who was wrong, and eventually told me that he didn't want my money and that I should leave the hotel. I would never ever stay in this hotel in a million years. It was disgusting.
